Installation and using:

  • Visit protonvpn.com and click on sign-up to create a new account and click on 'GET FREE'.
  • Enter Username, Email, Password and click on 'Create Account'.
  • Go to 'Dashboard' and Click on 'Download(Windows)' under 'ProronVPN Clients'.

  • Install the file and open it.

  • Click on 'Quick Connect' or select from a list of servers available.

  • One can see new IP-address, upload and download speeds, VPN connection server name once connected.
  • The same account can be used to log into ProtonVPN on other devices like iOS, Android, Linux, etc.

Note:

  1. VPN connection speed depends on server load, carrier/broadband speeds and more parameters.
  2. Only one simultaneous VPN connection per account is available for 'free accounts'.
